We construct objects as prototypes for a New Black World. Our work understands Blackness not as a fixed aesthetic category, but as an ontological condition shaped through histories of displacement, survival, improvisation, kinship, spiritual practice, expressive culture, and collective self-determination.
These objects emerge from African American ways of being; designing in way that becomes a means of making Black life materially present while asserting its complexity, continuity, and authority.
We propose new conditions for Black habitation; worlds in which Blackness functions not only as an identity, but as a generative frameworks for organizing collective life, technology, memory, and new futures never imagined.
